Our story began with a cutting board, or rather, the lack thereof. We wanted to find a board that was beautiful, functional, and affordable, but we couldn't find one that we'd be just as excited to use as to display on our counter. That's why we developed Sonder LA - to bring you home products that you'll use every day, without ever looking 'everyday.'

We manufacture as close to the source of the materials as possible in order to reduce our environmental impact. Whenever feasible, we source materials certified by the FSC from 100% sustainable plantations. We believe everyone can make an impact on the future of our planet, and that can be as simple as choosing a wood board over a plastic one. Not only are you eliminating plastic, but wood is much more durable and will easily outlive a plastic board when cared for properly.

Our cutting boards are free of BPA, phthalates, and formaldehyde. We've reinvented a century-old product to forever change the way you view and use your cutting board. Blending both form and function in our designs, everything we make is intended to be as beautiful as it is useful.
